Foghorn

Crisp ginger and distinctive juniper notes in this drink will clear the foggiest of minds. Think of it as a Dark and Stormy or a Moscow Mule, but made with Gin instead of Rum or Vodka.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. Gin
  • 1/2 oz. Lime Juice (fresh squeezed)
  • 4 oz. Ginger Beer 
  • Lime wheel (optional)

Put some ice in your glass, add the Gin and Lime Juice and stir. Gently fill the glass with Ginger Beer. You can substitute Ginger Ale for the Ginger Beer, that will soften the ginger and sweeten the drink. Garnish with a lime wheel. Above the drink is pictured in a double old fashioned glass. However, it would be more typically served in Collins Glass and truly smashing in a gin glass.
